Elizabeth Ann Fauber Schages, 75, of Stuarts Draft, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at home. She was born in Pulaski, Virginia, daughter of the late Hershey William Fauber and Mary Elizabeth Martin Fauber.
Ann is a member of Rankin’s Creek Praise and Worship Center, Stuarts Draft and as a Trinitologist, steadfastly holds to belief in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. She enjoyed softball, camping and golfing and was a diehard Redskins fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hans Helmuth Schages and her sister, Pamela Fauber Ward.
She is survived by her son, James Fauber (Jeff) Simms of Charlottesville; niece, Scottie McNeill Gipson and her husband, Greg of Palmyra and special great niece, Emily McNeill Gipson; step-son, Eddie Grant Schages and step-daughter, Kelly Denise Schages; four grandchildren, Sarah Simms, McKalyn Schages, Breann Schages and Andrew Schages; best friends, Linda Taylor a friend of 53 years, Teresa Ann Young of my church family, Missy and Victoria Enland, Sandy and Robert Schmon, Georgie Schages, Margret and Mike Lucas and Mike and Sandra McGinnis.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, OCTOBER 20, 2018, in the chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, conducted by Pastor Robert E. Via, Jr. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro.
