Eileen (Shanahan) Anderson

Eileen Anderson, 69, of Fishersville, VA, passed away on 8/23/2019 after a difficult battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Eileen was born on September 20, 1949 to John and Margaret Shanahan in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated high school from Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

After graduation, she worked as a secretary for many years before marrying her husband, Thomas Anderson. They went on to have two children, Colleen and John.

Eileen went on to work as an assistant childcare teacher before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandsons, Brody and Mason.

Eileen was predeceased by her father - John Shanahan, mother - Margaret Shanahan and husband - Thomas Anderson. She is survived by her daughter - Colleen Ross, son-in-law - David Ross, son - John Anderson and grandchildren - Brody and Mason Ross.
