Deborah Ann Amos

Deborah “Debbie” Ann Kelley Amos, 71, of Staunton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 9, 2019 in Fishersville.

She was born on November 27, 1948 in Maryland.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Staunton.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kelley; father, Carl Kelley; brother, Ray Clinton Kelley; nephews, Michael and Troy Stephenson.

She is survived by her only son, Ronald “Ronnie” H. Amos and his wife, Sherry A. Amos of Staunton; brother, Carl “Buddy” Kelley of Florida; sisters, Linda Mynes of Staunton and Doris Zirkle of Indiana; grandchildren, Tonya R. Sheffield and her husband, Aaron Sheffield, Cameron O. Amos and his fiancé, Madison Cornelius and Amber K. Amos; great grandchildren, Zackery T., Logan N. and Trenton R. Brown, Treavor L. Brown, and soon to be Brooklyn Ann Amos.

She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Larry Strickler.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Amos, Zackery Brown, Aaron Sheffield, Javier Moreno, Stacey Gilbert and LeRoy Stephenson.

Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.
