Christopher Cook Obituary

Chris “Cookie” Cook, 45, of Crimora, passed away, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Augusta Health, Fishersville.  He was born in Waynesboro on October 23, 1972

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Cook of Waynesboro.

Cookie, a carpenter by trade, loved to build houses and that was what he did for his entire work life.  His main enjoyment was hunting and playing horseshoes where he won many trophies.  He had many friends and impacted many lives, as he never met a stranger and was a very giving person.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Sandy of Crimora; his step-mother, Julie Cook; his son, Justin “Knuckle Head” Cook of Crimora; his daughter, Angel Lynn Cook of Waynesboro; his brother, Jeffrey Dale Cook of Fishersville; his two sisters, Terry Renee Michael of Crimora and Dawn Michelle Deibert of Waynesboro; his granddaughter, Nevaeh Renee Cook of Crimora and his loving and very special fiancé, Jennifer Adkins of Crimora.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P. M., Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.
