Alan J. Moquin 

Waynesboro - Alan J. Moquin, age 81, passed away October 24, 2018. He proudly served and retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years in the Navy's submarine service, worked as a Planner in the Charleston Naval Shipyard and as an industrial consultant. 

He is loved and will missed by his wife Chris; son, Jeff and grandson, Austin of Charleston SC; son Adam, (Ashley) and grandchildren, Parker, Alissa and Landon of Fishersville VA; step children he raised, Carolyn (Steve) Paulding, Mark and Robert Gaynor; sister, Janice McDonald of NY; and numerous relatives scattered around the country, along with special friends who were considered family. 

Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Celebration of Life, Nov 18th at 2:00 pm at the Waynesboro Elks Lodge #2270, 1700 Harvard Rd, Waynesboro, where Military Honors will be rendered by the U. S. Navy. Alan requested whole body donation through MedCure to help as many others as possible. A scattering of his ashes will be private at a later date.
