John Michael Berg

John Michael Berg, 56, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 in Richmond, VA. He was born in Waynesboro, on May 24, 1967, to Judy Holsinger Berg Harris of Huddleston and the late Joseph Berg.

John graduated from Wilson Memorial High School, Class of 1985. He was an out of doors person, who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his father, Joseph Peter Berg, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Dean Berg.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Judy Holsinger Berg Harris of Huddleston;  John’s children, Desiree McHale of Chicago, IL, Siera Payne of Waynesboro, VA, and Jade Berg of Waynesboro, VA, as well as six grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Augusta Memorial Park, with Pastor Dave Chappell officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery.
