Thomas Clinton Tisdale

Thomas Clinton Tisdale, 78, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at his home.

He was born July 24, 1938 in Augusta County to the late Floyd Hansford and Bessie Pearl Tisdale.

He retired from Mayer Pollock Corp. in Pottstown, PA as a steel worker.

He was the last surviving of seven children. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elsie Davis, Evelyn Shifflett, Violet Grepps, Jeanette Nelson, Maynard Tisdale and Robert Tisdale.

He is survived by his wife, Concepcion Lopez Tisdale; a daughter, Donna Tisdale; granddaughter, Melissa Grimm; great granddaughter, Kaleigh Perry; an adopted son, Roger Howdyshell and his wife, Jody; two adopted grandchildren, Shaun Altizer and Cheyenne Altizer and a great granddaughter, Layla Altizer.

Also preceded in death was his second wife, Sarah Huggard Tisdale; four children, Julian Huggard, Michelle Huggard, Tessia Huggard, Tiffany Huggard Baxter and her husband, Anton; two step granddaughters, Ashley Huggard and Michelynn Lott; one step grandson, Makel Huggard; special cousin, Margaret Morgan and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at White Hill Church of the Brethren conducted by David and Jim Chappell and a meal to be served following the service.
