Thomas Bernard Johnson

Thomas Bernard Johnson, 85, of York, Pennsylvania passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017.  He was born June 6, 1931 in Amherst the son of the late Willie Edward Johnson and Cindy Line Campbell Johnson. He was a mechanic by trade.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, John and Dewey Johnson and three sisters, Margie Hartman, Susie and Rosie Johnson.

He is survived by four sons, Cecil Johnson of Nellysford, Tony Johnson and wife, Jeanie of Nellysford, Frankie Johnson of Nellysford and Tommy Barker and wife, Cindy of York, PA; one daughter, April Johnson of York, PA; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charlie Johnson of York, PA and three sisters, Jane Mawyer of Staunton, Emma Moyer of Stuarts Draft and Linda Glovier of Waynesboro.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, March 3, 2017 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville. Interment will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, Afton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, from 10AM until the hour of the service, 11AM.
