Spencer Clayton "Clay" Riddle

Spencer Clayton “Clay” Riddle, 53, of Verona, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017, at his home.  He was born in Amarillo, Texas on March 28, 1964, son of the late Spencer Floyd Miller and Jocelyn Kay Jones Miller Riddle.

Clay had a variety of interests, among them were building, gardening, fishing, home improvement projects, reading and playing with his grandchildren.  If you couldn’t find him in the garden or on a new project with his tools, you could be sure he was hat down and boots up for a nap.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Riddle.

Clay is survived by two sons, Shawn Clayton Riddle and his wife Bre’, of Verona and John Dylan Riddle and his fiancé, Meagan of Queen City, Texas; one daughter, Katelyn Mackenzie Riddle of Hummelstown, PA; five grandchildren, Trinity Jade, Spencer Clayton and Bristol Leighton Riddle, Ocean Rayne and Calliope Kay Riddle; two brothers, Ken and Chip Riddle; two sisters, Lori Riddle and Lisa Briggs, both of Arkansas; two nieces, Kim Pierce and Kristy Taylor; three great-nieces, Emma West, McKenzie Pierce and Morgan Griffin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Crossroads Baptist Church, 31 Crossroads Lane, Fishersville, VA 22939 conducted by Pastor Heath Spivey.
