Robert, we became family through the union of your mother and my father. Your physical presence will be missed by many, but fondly remembered by all who knew you. Although our visits were limited to when Sue and I came to VA to visit with our parents, we will always remember the conversations that we had with you. Though I am not an avid sports fan, I was always mesmerized by the statistics that you had stored mentally. We will especially miss the comfort that you provided to us in knowing that you were just around the corner if your mother or my father needed someone. You were a Godsend when Dad recently broke his leg and was in recovery. For your efforts we will be eternally grateful. We are hopeful that you will be able to rest peacefully knowing that we will be as available to them as you were, even though it is from Florida.

Robert - I still think of him as "BJ" - was my lifelong friend. As young men we shared a great deal, living together at one point in Allston, MA. Ours was a friendship I'll always remember as a philosophical battle in which he stood proudly for free will. He was able to at once be cynical and somehow optimistic, and always spoke and thought with humor. I remember well reading his poetry, and his unpublished book, in which I was a character. I very much believe we helped shape each other, in our late teens and twenties, for our futures, whatever they would become. I loved Robert dearly and told him so this year. I will always remember him and what he meant to me. There won't ever again be someone dear to me that will call me "Zed". Good buy my friend. You are awesome and I do love you dearly.

Bobby was an important part of my childhood-his rich imagination and friendship meant a great deal to me. We shared so many wonderful adventures and his friendship was the most important one of my childhood.

Dear Steven, Thank you very much for your message on Robert's Guest Book page. You refer to him as BJ . He was called BJ in high school so I am guessing you were a school mate at BHS. I am sorry to say I don't think we have met. Please let me know your connection and a little bit about yourself and what you are doing now. Thanks. Beth
