Kathy and I were very sad to read of Kirt's passing. Lilly and I will miss seeing him with Heidi and Baxter on their neighborhood walks. I know Heidi, his children, grandchildren, and great grandson, and, of course, Baxter, will feel his absence, especially this Christmas. The obituary makes clear that he lived an exceptionally good life and will be remembered fondly by those who knew him well and by people like me, who knew him only in passing but recognized a gentle soul.

Dear Heidi, So sad to read this notice of Kirt's passing on the newspaper page. But so glad we had the chance to meet him through walking our fur babies on the track. Miss seeing you both and Baxter. Sending beautiful thoughts. Dan and Justin

There are not enough words to thank this man for all he did for me. I may not have realized it at the time, but his generosity, patience and genuine concern for a person's well being were traits that were at least exemplary. Looking back over the years, I can honestly say that I thought about how Dick would have handled a situation to guide me in my decision making. He was an inspiration to me in Pennsylvania and he continues to be one today. He made me a better person and he made the world a better place. I was truly lucky to have known him. Rest In Peace.

Very sorry to hear the sad news of Dick's passing. He sponsored our softball team when we were coming of age in the late 1970's and he was kind enough to give us jobs at Lehigh Waste. Truly a classy gentleman and he was a joy to be around. The guys on the team all owe Dick a debt of thanks for what he did for us as we transformed from teenagers to young men. I personally enjoyed talking to him about a great variety of topics and I learned a lot from him. He gave a lot of himself to friends and the community and we are all better because of him. Condolences to Heidi, Dagmar, Ralph and Pete. Thanks for all you did Dick! Peace!

So sorry to hear this sad news. Richard and my father worked with each other before he took over my father's business after.my father died. My mother was grateful for the grace and courtesy with which your parents assumed ownership of Lehigh Waste. He will be missed by all who knew him.
