Randy Scott Springel

Randy Scott Springel, 58, of Staunton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 27, 2016 from his residence.  He was born in Staunton, February 14, 1958, son of the late Benjamin and Nellie Springel.

Randy retired from Hollister, Stuarts Draft.  He was an avid fisherman and loved life to the fullest until the very end.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Springel; two sons, Brandon Piner of Staunton and Aaron Springel and his special friend, Nikki Stevenson of Staunton; one brother, Bennie Springel of Staunton; one grandson, Jason Stevenson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wes and Lori Stone of Stuarts Draft and Kevin and Tara Armstrong of Staunton; two nephews, Seth Stone and Jason Springel; niece, Somer Warren and her husband, Matt; great nephew, Landon Warren and great nieces, Braelyn Warren, Kayleigh Springel and Madison Springel.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
