Nadine Pledger

Nadine Pledger, 75 of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in Waynesboro.

She was born on January 3, 1942 in Alabama to the late Eskil and Opal Cash. She grew-up and raised her family in NW Indiana then moving to Virginia Beach in 1990 and eventually moving to Waynesboro, Virginia.

She graduated from Tech High School in Hammond, Indiana and attended Realtor School in Virginia Beach. She was a Residential Realtor in Virginia Beach and retired in 2014 from Kohls in Waynesboro.

She was an avid animal lover, rescued cats and in her younger years she loved to bowl and dance. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Pledger.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Pledger; daughter, Robin Pledger; grandchildren, Samantha Smitka, Steven Smitka, Ryne Smitka, Matthew Smitka and Casey Pledger; three great-grandchildren, Dakota Pledger, Phoenix Pledger and Storm Pledger.
