Minnie Bell (Lipscomb) Clark

Minnie Clark, 78 of Waynesboro passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. “When my kids were little I prayed to see them grow up and I did. I watched my grandkids grow too.

She was born September 27, 1939 in Botetourt County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Henry Cline and Kathleen Crawford Lipscomb.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Clark, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Buck Campbell, sisters Pauline “Polly” Bradley, Mary Mullens, and Kathrine Campbell, brothers Kenny Lipscomb, James Lipscomb.

Minnie is survived by her children, Teresa Clark, Tommy Clark, Kenny Clark and wife Joy, and Lee Clark and wife Kim, a sister, Sarah “Dude” Sweet, twelve grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Faith Worship Center with Rev. Dennis Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in Lyndhurst United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939.
