Mary S. "Trixie" (Gray) Vance

Mary S. “Trixie” Vance, 78, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Augusta Health.  She was born December 2, 1938, in Logan, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Richard Gray and Merle Chambers Gray.

Mary loved her flowers and her man.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sylvia Fitzgerald and Kim Butler; one son, Edward Allen Vance; three sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her Special Other, Eugene Rea; three daughters, Debra Sensabaugh, Margaret Rea and Amy Marcial; one sister; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, May 26, 2017, in the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, conducted by The Rev. Ray Fisher.

Burial will follow in Rock Gate Cemetery, Crozet.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017, at the funeral home.
