Lloyd B. Painter, Jr.

Lloyd B. Painter, Jr., 51, of Bridgewater, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at his home.  He was born in Staunton on September 20, 1963, the son of Lloyd B. Painter, Sr. and Patricia Reid Painter of Staunton.

Lloyd was employed by Sysco and was an eight year veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  He loved motorcycle riding.  He was a loving son and will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William (Shag) Reid, his paternal grandfather, Walter Painter, paternal grandmother, Dorothy Chaplin and his uncle, Boyd Painter.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Lloyd Daniel Painter of Ridgeland, South Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Arlene Reid of Waynesboro and two uncles, Donald Painter of Staunton and Eugene Painter and his wife, Linda of Verona.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 – 5:30 pm, Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.

Burial will be private.
