Kyle Wayne Holbert

Kyle Wayne Holbert, 60, of Strasburg formerly of Staunton, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2017.

He was born on December 29, 1956 in Rockbridge County to Ralph and Elsie Holbert.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kate and Hugh Holbert.

Surviving is his wife, Patty Holbert; mother, Elsie E. Holbert; sons, Jerry Armentrout and his wife, Leigh, Christopher Armentrout and wife, Tina and Brandon Holbert; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Vickey McDaniels and her husband, Gene and Frances Carter and her husband, Rusty and Donna Deneen; brothers, Timothy Holbert and Jeffrey Holbert; a special aunt and uncle, Lyndel and Leland Loan.

He was a proud veteran of the US Marines.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939 and where a funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in the chapel with military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olive Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, 12180 Back Road, Toms Brook, VA 22660.
