James Francis Farrell, Jr.

James Francis Farrell, Jr., 85, of Staunton, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014.  He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on November 24, 1928.
He was formerly of Wilmington, Delaware and worked for many years in the oil industry.  He retired to Weyers Cave where he ran a farm for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Farrell; his children, Kathleen Farrell of Livonia, Michigan, James F. Farrell, III, Patricia Farrell and Michael Farrell all of Wilmington, Delaware; two step-sons. Dennis R. Loebe of Weyers Cave and Nicholas Loebe of Felton, Delaware; eight grandchildren and two brothers, Edward Farrell of New Preston, Connecticut and Thomas Farrell Saunderstown, Rhode Island.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 1:30 - 2:30 P. M. at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive (formerly Goose Creek Road), Fishersville.    
Private family interment will be in Thornrose Cemetery, Staunton.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
