Irma Empey Masse

Irma Empey Masse, 92 of Waynesboro passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Augusta Health.

She was born June 21, 1923 in Farmington, MN, the daughter of the late Clifford Empey and Gretchen Grove Empey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samson Masse and her brothers, Dean Empey and Allan Empey.

Irma is survived by her two sons, William Masse and wife Ann of Waynesboro and Robert Masse of Manassas, four grandchildren, Savanna Anderson and Rusty of Tulsa, OK and Gretchen Masse, Samuel Masse and Benjamin Masse of Waynesboro, and two great-grandchildren, Scarlett Rose and Leland of Tulsa, OK

Her grandkids called her “The Owl Grandma”.

A private service will be held at a beloved location.
