Harold Eugene Lawson

Harold Eugene Lawson, 60, of Fishersville passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 in Charlottesville.

He was born February 8, 1957 the son of the late Howard Hoover Lawson, Sr. and Dixie Irene Hicks Lawson.

Harold was a Deputy Sheriff with the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department and a member and treasurer of the Fraternal Order of Police.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Eric Lawson.

Harold is survived by his, son, Jeremy Lawson and wife Jessica, his daughter, Andrea Lawson, a brother, Howard Lawson, Jr., a granddaughter, Marleigh Bell, his girlfriend, Kimbra Morris, and his four-legged companions, Baby Girl, Pooky, and Piggy.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA with Rev. Dan Garber officiating. Interment will follow at Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro, Virginia.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
