Frank Campbell, 87, of Waynesboro, passed away, Friday, February 9, 2018, at his home. He was born in Augusta County, September 23, 1930, to the late Charles and Ruth Campbell.
Frank was retired from Con Agra and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an Honorary Member of VFW Post 2424.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Billy Campbell; his daughter, Brenda Campbell; four sisters and one great-granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margie Hall Campbell; his sons, Pete Campbell of Waynesboro and Steve Campbell and his fiancé, Maryann of Bowie, Maryland; his daughter, Becky Harris and husband, Kenny of Waynesboro; his brother, Charles Campbell and his wife, Lupie of California; his sister, Dorothy Fitzgerald of Waynesboro; his grandchildren, Kassira, Melissa, Dawn, Clyde, Stephanie and Jennifer; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service, with Military Honors by Staunton VFW Post 2216, will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, conducted by Mr. Arnold Lindner.
