Frances Argenbright Hall, 78, of Staunton, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the University of Virginia. She was born June 15, 1938 in Staunton.
Over the years, Frances was the foster parent of 32 children whom she took into her home. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. In Area 5 Special Olympics she served as Assistant Coach in Track and Field and had served as Fund Raiser Chairman for Special Olympics.
On July 21, 2016, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Special Olympian Dottie Lynn Baker.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Curtis Hall; her very special son, Danny Ray Hall and friend, Terri Belcher of Waynesboro; special friends, Wayne and Mary Ann Hite of Staunton, Patrick Hite and family and Jackie Parr.
The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 am, on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Zion Lutheran Church, 297 Zion Church Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980 and where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am conducted by The Rev. Interment to follow at Augusta Memorial Park.
