Doug Huffman

Doug Huffman, 53, of Waynesboro, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at his residence.

He was born February 12, 1962 in Waynesboro, the son of Katherine Pauline Patterson Huffman and the late Ronald Howard Huffman.

In addition to his mother, Doug is survived by his son, Ricky Huffman of Waynesboro, his daughter, Jessica Huffman of Waynesboro, his granddaughter, Brooklynn, his sister Dana Quickel and husband Barry of Fishersville, and niece Victoria and nephew Brett.

Doug, along with his son Ricky, was the owner/operator of Doug’s Automotive. His son will continue operation of the business.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Dale Huff officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville to process to the cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Augusta Regional SPCA, 33 Archery Lane, Staunton, VA 24401.
