David Harold McDaniel

David H. McDaniel, 62, of Staunton, died Monday, April 25, 2016 in Fishersville.

He was born in Staunton on September 4, 1953 to the late Harold and Mary McCauley.

He proudly served in the US Army. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He never met a stranger and loved to joke around family and friends

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Gale Shifflett McDaniel and a brother, James Lacy McDaniel.

He is survived by his sons, David McDaniel, Jr., Anthony “Sticks” McDaniel, Shawn McDaniel; brother, Michael Myers; sister, Dorothy Parrish and their respective families.

A private graveside service will be held at Thornrose Cemetery.
