Clyde Melton Talley

Clyde Melton Talley, 63, of Waynesboro, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Envoy of Staunton.

He was born in Virginia on December 23, 1951, the son of the late Mervin Richard Talley and Elizabeth Cathryn Smith Talley.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death on December 5, 2013, by his wife, Sonia Jane Cody Talley and two brothers, David Glynn Talley and Charles Talley.

Clyde is survived by his daughter, Hannah Talley; his step-son, Wayne Cody; his brothers, Rodney and Boyd and his sisters, Ruby, Leslie and May.                                                                                                       

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 25, 2015, in the Chapel of the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, conducted by The Rev. Rollo B. Castillo, Pastor of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, Waynesboro.  Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends Saturday, at the funeral home, from 9:00 – 10:00 am, the hour of the service.
