Betty Marie (Marks) Coursey

Betty Marie Coursey, 83 of Fishersville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Fishersville. She was born on January 17, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Thomas Marks and the late Marsha Marks Campbell. She is a member of Fishersville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She was the most caring, loving and giving mother to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Hughes. She is survived by her children, Blane Coursey and Bruce Coursey and his wife, Vanessa; grandchildren, Ben, Aryn and Cole Coursey; great grandchildren, Holland, Isaac and Charlie Coursey; brothers, John Marks and his wife, Betty and Tom Marks and his wife, Marilyn; beloved sisters-in-law, Charlene Beach, Bonnie Sue Duncan and numerous nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939 and where a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
